HPRS Annual General Meeting 2026
The society’s Annual General Meeting is on Sunday 18 October, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, at the Sunderland Lounge on Cinema Road. It is held both in person and online. The carpark is opposite.
The AGM is where the volunteer committee is elected, and where the membership fee for the coming financial year is agreed along with the annual budget. Financial members can vote, and can stand for election to the committee.
The information pack
A full information pack goes out at least two weeks beforehand. It carries the complete results of the member feedback on the proposed Constitution motions, and it explains how to pre-vote.
Members who pre-vote go into a draw to win an iPad (A16) 256GB in silver. The draw is there to encourage engagement, and to make sure the meeting reaches a quorum. The dates you can pre-vote between, and how the draw is made, go out with the pack.
