Once a fortnight on a Tuesday morning Trudi, your regular mobile librarian, brings the Mobile Library North to the Headquarters Building in Hobsonville.

Your mobile library service:
The Mobile Library North is brand new and modern, one of the new generation mobile libraries that are easier to park than the old full-sized bus. You can browse onboard for books for the whole family.

The mobile library is part of Auckland Libraries and is a pickup location for items ordered online – just look for Mobile Library North in the alphabetical list of libraries.

When visiting the mobile library you can:
• Return items borrowed from the mobile library
• Return items borrowed from any Auckland Libraries branch
• Pick up items requested online
• Get help with readers advisory and placing requests
• Browse collections for children, teens, and adults
• Get information about digital resources (including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines)

Items borrowed from the mobile library can be returned to the mobile library, or to any branch of Auckland Libraries.

Your Auckland Libraries membership:
Everyone who lives in Auckland can join Auckland Libraries for free. If you don’t already have your free library card you can join using the online form

Auckland Libraries memberships for businesses:
If you work in a school, preschool, rest home or other business you can apply for a library card for the organisation. For more information on how to apply visit the Auckland Libraries website
