Please join us at the new Rifle Range on Sunday 19 March from 4.30pm to 6.30pm to celebrate the opening of this community facility. The Hobsonville Land Company in collaboration with students from the Hobsonville Point Secondary School, AVJennings, and local band ‘Hobby Hipsters’ are very excited to be putting on this event for the community.
As the title suggests, this was a RNZAF Rifle Range, which has now been transformed into a stage area, terraced seating, a table tennis table, and public toilets.
The afternoon will have music and dance by students from the Hobsonville Point Secondary school and local Band ‘Hobby Hipsters’.
A meal will be available to purchase for $5.00 per person, and soft drinks available for purchase,. All proceeds are going to fund local initiatives.
The Rifle Range is on the coastal walkway along Bomb Point Drive – Past the Primary school and Early Learning Centre, on the way to Bomb Point.
