You may recall that the Society’s chair, Errol Haarhoff, wrote to the Minister of Urban Development, Phil Twyford, expressing the concerns of some residents that Bomb Point’s future as a park was not assured.
Mr Twyford repeated assurances received earlier from HLC that the full 10.7 hectares of parkland at Te Onekiritea – Bomb Point would be retained as reserve. Read his letter below.
