Dear community – here’s an oppportunity we’d like you to consider.
Later this year we’ll be seeking new members to join the HPRS committee.
It’s some months before the next annual meeting, but time will fly – and before you know it we’ll be calling for nominations of members keen to stand for election to the next committee.
Stepping up to this kind of role is a good challenge, a great way to help run our unique community, and an opportunity to get to know those who live around us.
Are you interested? If so, we encourage you to signal your interest now – well before the nomination time (in September) rolls around.
Email [email protected], putting ‘Committee Interest’ in the subject line, to tell us you’d like to know more. Please do that by April 13.
We’ll then organise a get-together where you can meet current committee members and hear about what they do. And – if you like –you can sit in as an observer at one of our meetings this year to give you a better idea of what’s involved.
In general, the role involves attending monthly meetings, doing some allocated tasks, and supporting our members and the wider community in achieving the Society’s vision. For more about that check out the constitution.
Although this opportunity is only open to HPRS members/homeowners, we are eager to engage with a wide range of diverse people of any age and stage from right around the community.
