The HPRS Committee works closely on your behalf with several groups and organisations, including the Upper Harbour Board (UHB).
In response to a recent request from UHB for feedback, we presented a submission on behalf of HPRS giving support and encouragement to the board for its work including with local library services.
While acknowledging the facilities planned in neighbouring Scott Point, our submission also emphasised this community’s need for additional facilities that cater to all residents without being specific to any particular age group such as an all-ages indoor recreation facility. We also requested progress on the transfer of Bomb Point.
The committee’s working relationship with UHB is ongoing and we will inform you about progress as it unfolds.
