It’s a Hungerball session. For more about the game and how it’s played\, check out this link. \nHungerball was invented in New Zealand and is now speading round the world. It caters for all ages\, sizes\, cultures and abilities. Even those with no skills or interest enjoy it and have a real chance at scoring and winning. \nSunday’s event is on between 2 and 5pm and includes a sausage sizzle during the first hour.

DESCRIPTION:Put a big tick on Dec 9\, on your calendar\, for it’s the evening set for Hobsonville Point’s annual Christmas event with carols\, live music\, food\, a visit from Santa and a few activities for the kids. Don’t miss it and get in early if you want a good spot! \nBig thanks to the Hobsonville Community Trust\, which organises this great evening for local families. \nThe organisers ask that you PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PICNIC SET (plates\, cups\, cutlery and something to sit on) and take home your own rubbish as we want to reduce the amount of disposables used in our community. \nPlease note that AVJennings\, Ryman Healthcare\, and Kerepiti are all providing some free yummy food but this will be limited and so it’s first in first served. \nThere is no parking so please walk/bike down. Also to limit the loading on the public toilets\, please use your own before you come along. \nNB: Live music will start from 5pm so please feel free to come on down from then\, the event will start proper at 5.30pm.

DESCRIPTION:It was pretty quiet at the waterpark on Rangihina Road when we took this pic\, but there’ll be plenty of buzz on Sunday\, March 25.\n\nCelebrate Neighbours Day Aotearoa on the Point by joining in some relaxed family activities\, enjoying the company of other locals and friends. Kids love this place and the time – 4.30 – 6pm – is the mellow end of day while the sun’s still up but not too hot. DESCRIPTION:Kaipatiki Project is partnering with Homes Land Community (HLC)\, the Upper Harbour Ecology Network (UHEN)\, Good Health\, the Upper Harbour Local Board and the Hobsonville Community Trust to bring you the Upper Harbour Eco Fun Day! This event will combine family fun\, learning\, music\, creativity\, nature and sustainable living – all in a festival atmosphere at the fantastic Rifle Range facility at Hobsonville Point. \nThe Rifle Range facility is located adjacent to Bomb Point Park and the Coastal Walkway\, so bring your walking shoes and cycles and explore the beautiful surroundings of Hobsonville Point. Even better\, leave your car at home and cycle or walk to the event as parking will be limited. And while you’re there\, pay a visit to the fantastic Farmers Market located on the waterfront too! \nChildren and parents really enjoy these eco days as it’s a great family day out. As Olivia Herbke said at the Kaipatiki Eco Day in March\, “it was really fantastic to see so many free kid’s activities and to teach the children about sustainability”. \nJanet Cole\, Manager of Kaipatiki Project\, says “This is an opportunity for local people to get actively involved in changing the face of their neighbourhood for the better and make a lasting difference to their environment. It’s a great free day out for locals\, it’s also a chance for community groups to connect with local conservation groups”. \nThere will be plenty to do:\n– Sustainable Whanau Challenge Launch: A fun\, four week online challenge which informs\, inspires and empowers families to live more sustainably.
