DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the opening on Chichester Cottage on Sunday March 1 from 4pm – 8pm. We’re planning a 1930’s themed soirée so it would be great if you could dig out your clothes to match and come prepared with a BYO picnic. There’ll be Jazz by the Allana Goldsmith Band\, dancing\, and old school sports on the lawn. \nWe’d like to thank Ryman Hobsonville for kindly donating the complimentary high tea scones and other activities and Anna Byron – #TeamByron – Ray White for the beverages. \nChichester Cottage was gifted to the Hobsonville Point Residents Society from Kainga Ora and Auckland Council to use as a bookable community venue which will be open to hire from March 2. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a nature themed event to kick off 2020 and take a slide down the Pied Shag Bird and shared picnic at Harrier Point Park on Thursday January 9 from 2 – 4pm. \n \nThis is a great opportunity to re-group after the festive celebrations to meet and connect with locals. Starting from 2pm please bring a plate for a shared community picnic and your picnic blanket. We’ll have fruit\, there’ll be books hanging from the trees\, create your own rock art\, and music to enjoy. \nIf you are going on the slide it’s 10metres high so adults will need to accompany younger kids down the slide\, and please don’t wear white.
