Feb 6 was a special day at the Catalina Bay Farmers Market as it marked the start of trading five days a week. The market has been a key attraction for both visitors and locals right from the start of Hobsonville Point’s development, so a jump to five days a week will be very welcome.

It was once housed in a shed on Buckley Avenue, then moved to where Fabric Café now is, and then re-located to its current space at the foot of the steps that run down from Launch Road. From now on, you can shop for all your favourite goodies on Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 5pm; on Fridays from 10am to 7pm; and at the weekends, 8.30am to 2pm on Sat and Sun.
